Anthony Mowatt - Chairman

Anthony received his initial training in the law practice of David Pinto and Co., pioneers in the development of uninsured loss recovery. Recognising the trend of the business towards the insurance industry and away from purely legal practices, he went into partnership with the Brian Johnson Group of Redhill to form Linkfield Legal Services as a legal expenses insurance brokerage. Development of Linkfield was also combined with the development of the general broking business of the group, providing general insurance experience. In 1988 Anthony sold his interest in Linkfield and formed Keystone Legal Benefits Limited.

Anthony was a member of the Lord Chancellor’s consultative committee responding to the Government’s initial proposed changes to Access To Justice. He had an active involvement in the ABI/Law Society sponsored industry summits and has been closely involved in an advisory capacity with the successful milestone cases Callery v. Grey and Sarwar v, Allam. Anthony has also spoken at Lloyd’s of London on related insurance topics.

Chris Marden ACII - Underwriting & Technical Director
